Chalermchai Kositpipat update

The beautiful 'White Temple' (Wat Rong Khun) was damaged by the earthquake on may 6, 2014. The walls of the main building are cracked and the paintings came off the wall. If the structure is intact Chalermchai Kositpipat will repair and repaint the walls. The artist started his project in 1996, and it took him the better part of two years to paint the inside of Wat Rong Khun. Some parts of the complex will have to be demolished, and for now the 'White Temple' is closed to visitors. Here is an article from the Bangkok post giving the more details.

Zimoun

Zimoun loves mechanical rhythm and architecture. His sound sculptures are a combination of simple, raw materials and mechanical element. He explains his obsession, saying; “from a very early age I was fascinated and somehow obsessed by being active in all these fields; sound, music and visually realized projects. Now, through my sound sculptures and installations many of these interests are coming together.”
