Born in the Gifu Prefecture, Japan, currently living in Brooklyn (US). Mineo Mizuno's work 'moss' interacts with nature, the ceramic work becomes a whole new world, a micro cosmos. 'Coexistence' Mineo calls his installations, these little green islands are living things. Changing with age and atmosphere, a symbiosis between stone and moss - an alliance between nature and man.
'Waterdrop' series gives you a complete different feeling. Mineo Mizuno created the before the 'Moss' series, starting from the same pebble-like shape.
